Flow, Moving Millions & Staying Outside of the Comfort Zone
“If government and business don’t have a solution, maybe the people should take over?”.
On September 15th last year, this woman and her team moved 17.8M people in 157 countries to participate in the biggest ever civic action against waste – World Cleanup Day. Through a 36-hour epic wave of cleanups on beaches, rivers and other polluted environments, communities across borders and cultural divides sent a strong message to the world by taking a symbolic step towards green stewardship for systemic change.
This doesn’t happen without a bit of magic. Heidi empowers community leaders around the world to join the movement, and dreams are getting bigger and bigger. In Indonesia, the regional leader Agustina Iskandar transcended the social barriers she was facing – mainly being a young female leader with ambition – and mobilised more than 7 million people to show up that day!
How do you find the power within yourself to dream big and bring others with you? We talk energy flows, alignment, women empowerment, disrupting government and businesses with the power of grassroots, and most importantly, what happens when you get people out of their comfort zone? This is what cleanups symbolise, and it will surely get bigger next year.
This episode is also a special message to honor all of the women of the world, highlight their struggles and urge every human being to find the creative power within, in order to shape a much better outside.
