#006 – V for Virtus

Transcript:

“C’est Baudelaire qui dit des choses très belles” I am sure you noticed: with the lock-down, the little things take a lot of meaning. More than ever, I like sitting down with a glass of wine, putting on a tune and staring at my plants. I just ask myself: what tune will I put on today? And here it comes ... My name is Camille, you’re listening to Cosmic Dynamics, 5 min of exploration on art, change & the music of the universe. Obviously, the letter V came to my mind. Was it because of the mo-Vie? Evey comes out of the her prison cell, her head is shaved. She enters the liVing room and puts on this tune. A warm moment of cinema, on the eve of V’s revolution.  You know what else starts with V? (virus) yes. And very close to it? Virtus. Virtus was a specific virtue in Ancient Rome. It carries connotations of excellence, courage, character, and worth. Virtus starts from within ourselves it seems. From an individual decision. Charles Baudelaire said it very well, I leave you with his words, in French, here delivered by Serge Regianni in 1968 - a revolutionary year... Cheers

I am sure you noticed: with the lock-down, the little things take a lot of meaning.

More than ever, I like sitting down with a glass of wine, putting on a tune, and staring at my plants. I just ask myself: what tune will I put on today? This time, the letter V came to mind.

Note: here is an “okay translated” version of “Enivrez-vous” the poem by Charles Baudelaire.

Cosmic Dynamics is also available on Spotify & on podcast apps.

Thank you for tuning in.
